How To Measure Your Nails

Before placing an order for your press-on nails, you must correctly determine your nail measurements. Below is a short guide:

Using Sizing Kit

Sizing kits are ready-made to purchase. This is the best method to determine your sizes. A sizing kit includes every nail size (#'s 00-9) in the shape of your choice (e.g. short almond) for you to try and determine your perfect fit.

Once you know your nail sizes/numbers, you can go ahead and put them into each option box for the sizes asked when placing a set into your cart.

Using Tapes

Please be aware that there is more room for error when measuring your nails versus using a sizing kit, and this could lead to you ordering nails that do not fit correctly.

HOW-TO

Lay a soft measuring tape over the widest part of your nail pulling down tight to account for any curve of your nail. Note the width of each nail in millimeters for each finger, at the widest part.

OR

Stick a piece of tape across the widest part of your nail pressing down to account for any curvature. Pull the tape off your nail and measure the distance between the marks of each nail (thumb, index, middle, ring, and pinky) with a measuring tape or ruler in millimeters.

It looks something like this:

Note for Sizing:

  1. Remember to include your pen marks in your measurements as it will add an extra 2-3mm to your actual size.
  2. Check both hands - lots of times nails on one hand may be in different sizes from the other.
  3. If you are between sizes, it is much safer to go up one size, as you can always file the sides of the nails to fit.
  4. If none of the standard sizes fit your nail measurements, select "CUSTOM" and leave your measurements at checkout in the instruction box with this formula:

(Thumb, Index, Middle, Ring, Pinky)

Example:

Right: 16mm, 12mm, 15mm, 12mm, 10mm.

Left: 16mm, 12mm, 15mm, 12mm, 10mm.
